When buying a PC desktop for use in your home recording studio you'll want to be sure to choose a computer with at least 2 GB of RAM and at least 200 GB of hard drive because of the large amount of memory used by recording software and the large size of raw wav files. These are minimums. I would recommend getting as much RAM & hard drive space as you can afford.
