There are a lot of factors to consider when trying to create your own home studio. In fact, the amount of factors can be quite overwhelming at first and that's why I have created this site. It will be your guide to knowing what you need to record (and mix/produce) music at home. It will also be your guide on how you use the tools that you have.
Obviously this is a lot to cover and I won't be able to get to it all at once. But that's OK because you won't have much success if you try to learn everything all at once anyway. I should also note that this site is dedicated almost entirely to computer based recording as it’s what I know and I think it’s what is relevant to 99% of the people who wish to do DIY music recording.
